Create a LEGO® catapult with the new 51515 Mindstorms Robot

The new 51515 Mindstorms Robot Inventor is a source of inspiration. For example, you could already read on ToyPro about how to build a LEGO® photo booth for your dog with this clever set and perhaps a Mindstorms Porsche will appear in 2021. JKBrickworks also discovered the Mindstorms Robot Inventor and made a working LEGO® catapult with it. In this post, you'll see the catapult in action and learn how to build the set.
This is a Candy Cane Catapult that allows you to catapult LEGO® candies away. As you can see in the video, it goes at quite a speed. JKBrickworks cleverly used the hub and 2 batteries as counterweights in the pendulum. A color sensor detects when the launch button is activated. JKBrickworks is also sharing the programming code for this MOC.
