Build a Pirate raft

Arrgh, and Ahoy mates! We've found a fun Pirate MOC for you. Because if your pirates have been shipwrecked, I'm sure they can still make a nice raft with the remaining wreckage of the boat to at least not get stuck on a desert island.

By using lots of barrels, you already get a good idea of a raft. And by using the net, it looks like everything is tied together with this. Be sure to use different kinds of brown. That way you will get an even better "wood" effect and get more detail in your construction. The printed tiles with wood motif also add extra detail to the structure. This MOC maker has chosen flags as siding but you could also use curved roof tile bricks in combination with custom 1x2 sheet with clips. This will give you somewhat larger sidewalls and allow you to sail back home even faster.

This MOC was made by Brickaholic and in the video he made a nice display plate that makes it look like the raft is sailing through the water. You can easily make these by using blue plates with transparent tiles and sloping 1x1 bricks on top. This way, you can turn this fun structure into a nice eye-catcher to show everyone.
