Originally designed as a protocol and navigation droid, KB has undergone numerous modifications over the years - not all of them professionally executed. The result? A droid with a squeaky voice, a sometimes inappropriate sense of humor and a store of obscure knowledge that often proves useful at the most unexpected times.
Although KB usually seems cynical about the crew's adventures, he is surprisingly loyal. He is equipped with a unique set of gadgets, including a built-in decryption module and a hidden stunblaster, which he reluctantly uses when the situation calls for it. Despite his sometimes blunt comments and sarcasm, KB often proves to be the group's moral compass, always willing to share a difficult truth - or come up with a clever plan.
With his worn chassis and an eye that blinks constantly, KB is a droid who has been through a lot, and may know more about the galaxy's past than he lets on. To the Skeleton Crew, he is more than just another droid - he is an indispensable ally, though he would never admit it himself.
