The LEGO® Group has unveiled the latest addition to its beloved LEGO TRANSFORMERS series: the LEGO® Icons TRANSFORMERS Bumblebee set. Released in the 40th anniversary year of the popular franchise, this new set is designed to both captivate existing fans and invite new fans to re-enact the battle between good and evil.
Like the LEGO TRANSFORMERS Optimus Prime set, originally unveiled in 2022, this set allows enthusiasts to build the iconic Autobot, Bumblebee, entirely out of LEGO bricks. As a key companion to LEGO Optimus Prime, Bumblebee completes the iconic duo, allowing fans to re-enact epic battles and adventures. What sets this model apart is its remarkable ability to seamlessly switch between robot and vehicle mode, with no disassembly required.
The set consists of 950 parts and is a detailed model of the iconic robot action figure from the 1980s. It features movable joints, an ion blaster and a jetpack, and can be effortlessly converted from Autobot to vehicle mode. The set comes with a display plate, making it a perfect gift for TRANSFORMERS fans and collectors.
The LEGO® Icons TRANSFORMERS Bumblebee set will be available to LEGO Insiders from 1 July 2024 at LEGO.com/Bumblebee.
