LEGO® connects generations and is passed on from parents to children. Sharing beautiful moments with your child is priceless and LEGO® provides many of these moments. Father Stéphane and his son Axel from France share the passion for LEGO®. Stéphane wrote us about the LEGO® collection of his son and we are proud to present Axel’s LEGO® collection in this article.

ToyPro: how and when did the passion for LEGO® start for Axel?
Stéphane: I was a LEGO® fan when I was a child myself and I still am. I therefore think that I have passed on the virus. Axel already had different types of toys, but I once bought a LEGO® City set to see if he would like LEGO®. Axel thought the City set was great and I can remember that he said: "It's nice because you have to build it up before you can play with it".
Axel was already a fan of Star Wars and Dinosaurs and these also became his two favorite LEGO® themes. He currently has 70 Star Wars sets and the complete collection of Dino and Jurassic World sets.

ToyPro: what is Axel building at the moment?
Stéphane: Axel is currently working on embellishing his LEGO® collection with LEGO® plates and decorations. He wants to copy scenes or create scenes himself. Axel will soon be participating in an exhibition in our neighborhood and he will show his LEGO® Dino collection there in a beautiful setting. He has also started a YouTube channel on which he puts gaming videos, as well as videos about his LEGO® collection.

ToyPro: what plans does Axel have for the future?
Stéphane: Axel would like to visit the LEGO® factory in Billund, in addition to building many more fun LEGO® projects. We have already been to Legoland in Germany twice and Axel would also like to go there again. His big dream is to work for LEGO® in the future.

ToyPro: it would be wonderful if that dream comes true in the future. Does Axel only build standard LEGO® sets or does Axel also build MOCs?
Stéphane: yes, Axel has also built some MOCs. Online we found the building instructions for Rey's house from Star Wars 7. In addition, he adapted the standard Star Wars MTT and Kylo Ren's spaceship sets to make them look even more like the models in the movie. On the internet you can find many tips and videos about this. Furthermore, he has built his own cages for his LEGO® dinosaurs with LEGO® parts that we have ordered from ToyPro.

ToyPro: why do you choose ToyPro?
Stéphane: We choose ToyPro, because ToyPro has a wide variety of LEGO® parts and minifigures. This allows us to order various parts of a set, for example bricks that we have lost or minifigures to complete a collection. The website is well made, the prices are correct and the shipment is reliable. The loyalty program is also nice.
ToyPro: do Axel and you have any tips for our readers?
Stéphane: I encourage readers to share this passion with their children. Do not hesitate to order other parts than just sets to create your own universe with your child(ren). Children will love this and sharing such moments with your child is super fun. We also recommend going to LEGO® exhibitions and admiring the extraordinary constructions there. If you have the chance to go to Legoland, then you should definitely go there!
ToyPro: Stéphane and Axel, thank you very much for your inspiring story and showing a very nice LEGO® collection. We also want to wish you lots of fun with building many more beautiful LEGO® creations.
