Participate in this auction for Fairy Bricks and win an exclusive LEGO® Pagani Huayra BC

Would you like to become the owner of this special LEGO® Pagani Huayra BC? Between 19 and 26 April next, this MOC will be auctioned at Catawiki and the money thus collected will go into a charity fund called Fairy Bricks. This beautiful LEGO® set has been offered by Jeroen Ottens and there is a special story to go with it.

Designer Jeroen Ottens, whom we have recently interviewed for our series Meet the LEGO® Pro, is himself a great admirer of Clive Carrington. Clive is a very special LEGO® fan, who loves to build LEGO® sets in spite of his bad paraplegia. He does not work quickly, as he has to work with his mouth, and he can only use his arms a little bit. Thus, building a Porsche GT3-RS set took him no less than 60 hours. In spite of his handicap, Clive talks about his adventures on the LEGO® forum Eurobricks, where he is known as Grum64, in a positive and humorous way.

Jeroen Ottens finds Clive Carrington a very inspiring person and therefore offered to design a model especially for him. Clive refused however, as he said that life is treating him gently because he has his wife and children. But Jeroen did not give up, and finally, they reached the decision that Jeroen would design a model, and would auction it for a charity. And this is the model: an incredibly beautiful Pagani Huayra BC.

This beautiful MOC has independent wheel suspension with ‘cantilever’-geometry on all its wheels. You can steer this Pagani Huarya by its steering wheel as well as by HoG (Hand of God). Furthermore, the hood and the boot lid as well as the gullwing car doors can open up. This MOC car has a V12 fake motor and an 8D-N-R sequential gearbox. The Aero Flaps on the front and at the back of the car move along with the steering wheel. And the LEGO® car seats are adjustable.

Jeroen has added a few special details, such as 3D-printed wheel rims, chrome elements on the dashboard, and a detailed cabin and a motor block. He managed to insert very rare blue and white LEGO® bricks into this special MOC.

Jeroen and Clive contacted Pagani who also very much appreciated this project. Therefore, Pagani decided to become a supporter of the action. Beside the LEGO® Pagani Huarya BC you can also win a couple of signed computer drawings.
