At ToyPro we have already seen a lot of creative and impressive LEGO® buildings the last couple of years. However, we are still often amazed by the incredible things that are being built with LEGO®. We recently saw the of a working Nintendo arcade game console made of, you guessed it, LEGO®. Only 1 word fits for this: WOW!
This complete working LEGO® Arcade game cabinet is built from no less than 15,000 LEGO® parts. You have to insert a coin to start and there is a real LEGO® slot on it. This LEGO® arcade machine is built by Helen Sham and the game board is decorated with Nintendo icons such as Donkey Kong, Super Mario and Zelda. Helen needed 6 hours to design the machine and the building itself took 27 hours. This arcade game is almost 5 feet high, weighs almost 65 pounds and is built on a scale of 1 to 2. The interior, of course not made of LEGO®, is a real arcade machine and you can play the classic video game Mario versus Donkey Kong 2. Watch the following video to see this LEGO® Nintendo Arcade Machine in action.
