On 28 May 2021 LEGO® launched a brand new series from the Ninjago world: the Ninja Vlogs. In these short movies Jay and Nya, two acquaintances from the LEGO® Ninjago world, take viewers along in their quest for a dangerous new world. The videos are aimed at young fans aged 6 to 12 and are released every two weeks. Moreover, the Ninja Vlogs are not just a series...

For the first time, LEGO® is using motion capture and real-time rendering techniques simultaneously. Together, these two techniques ensure the high quality of the vlogs. Motion capture, for example, uses a suit to convert an actor's movements into a 3D character. At the same time, real-time rendering uses fast calculations to make the images that go with each scene look as if they were happening in real life.

Another thing that makes the series so special is that it gives fans the chance to be directly part of the story. Within the LEGO® Life app, viewers can send in their creations through building challenges that come to life in the series. They can also ask questions that can be answered by Jay and Nya in subsequent episodes. In this way, the series gives children the chance to interact with their favourite ninja heroes in a different way and put their imagination to work even more.

LEGO® Ninjago has now entered its 11th season after more than 10 years. For 4 fans, the 10th anniversary of the series was so special that they decided to make a cool documentary about it.
