DeLorean is the time machine car in the American science fiction film series Back to the Future. The name gives away what these films are about: time travel. In the first film, main character Marty McFly accidentally goes back to the past with the DeLorean time machine. Here he unintentionally prevents his parents from meeting and in doing so puts his own existence at risk. In the second film, he and his girlfriend travel to the future in a much-improved DeLorean, which now runs on green energy and can also fly. The aim now is to prevent their future family from ending up in the gutter. However, the DeLorean is severely damaged by lightning at the end of this film. In the third and final film, the DeLorean must be fixed again so that they can take one more trip into the past. As you can read, this car has traveled through time quite a bit during the film trilogy. Whether you can really time travel with this LEGO® DeLorean, we can't promise you :)
