It is a heavily underestimated piece of LEGO®, the jumper plate. You can do really cool things with it that are not possible with the "normal" LEGO® blocks. Tiago Catarino, a former Portuguese LEGO® Model Designer, explains in the video below in great detail what you can do with this amazing piece of LEGO®.
As you could see in the video, different types of jumper plates have already been released. There is the 1 x 2 variant, the 2 x 2 variant, the 1 x 3 variant with 2 studs on top and the 2 x 4 with 2 studs. Of course, they are available in many different colours. And so you can give your own made-up constructions even more depth and detail.
Tiago Catarino, as mentioned, is a former LEGO model designer and shows weekly reviews, lego techniques and tutorials on his YouTube channel. So we definitely recommend checking out his YouTube Channel.
