Working LEGO® Keyboard

Hello, Adam. Maybe your name isn't Adam, but the keyboard we're going to talk about is. And then you'll probably think: It's supposed to be about LEGO at ToyPro, right? Well, about half of that is the case with this mechanical keyboard. In fact, this keyboard is partially made with building blocks and they are 100% compatible with LEGO® bricks. So you can customize it to your taste and decorate it with your own LEGO® parts and imagination. ADAM is a high-end mechanical keyboard from the KBDcraft brand. The keyboard is designed for gamers and typists looking for a reliable and responsive keyboard. How to build
Let's see how building the keyboard goes. In the package is everything you need to make the keyboard. Our package even includes everything to build it in white or gray. The bricks all have the same shapes as real LEGO® bricks so it is easy to match the colors with other colors from your own collection. Also included in the package are of course the switches, stabilizers, plate, shock absorbing plate and pcb (printed circuit board). make a kind of "sandwich" of these and you have the complete interior of your keyboard.
Then the building of the shell begins. So we can LEGO. The clear steps in the instruction booklet will easily help you through the building process. But don't forget to read carefully the texts in the instructions and so don't just look at the pictures otherwise you might forget some important things. If everything is in the case, then you can move on to the next step. Testing and modifying the tests. This is done through a handy online program but you can also download this program. So you can adjust the layout of the keys to your heart's content. You can also adjust the RGB lighting.
Self-modifying or decorating
If you fancy a different color keyboard then of course you can very easily customize the casing of the keyboard. Because yes, it is simply made of LEGO® bricks. We made a red/yellow casing and it immediately looks completely different. Or if you replace the top row of 2x4 tiles with 2x4 plates with 2 studs. You can add nice decoration as you can see below.
About the keyboard
The switches of the keyboard are S² switches. These provide a fine clicking sound and it is similar to the sound from the LEGO® video games when the characters are building. Another feature of the ADAM is the programmable PCB (printed circuit board). This allows users to fully customize their keyboard to their needs. Users can program the functions and macros of each key, making the keyboard very versatile. The keyboard is compatible with QMK firmware, which means users also have access to an extensive library of keyboard layouts and functions.
The ADAM also features a detachable USB Type-C cable. This not only provides convenience in storing and transporting the keyboard, but it also means users can use their own cable to connect the keyboard. This is convenient for people who have special cables or need a replacement cable.
Finally, the ADAM is equipped with a polycarbonate panel. This provides a translucent effect, making the keyboard's RGB lighting more visible. The lighting is fully customizable, allowing users to create their own unique light show.
