As you know you can build almost anything you want with LEGO®. Every day new original MOC sets are created and you can also let your own imagination run free. Sometimes fans share their creations with us and Michael Brown sent us this LEGO® Apache AH-64 helicopter that he built together with his son Nickulas. The design and construction of this impressive LEGO® combat helicopter took several years and the result is stunning. Michael deserved a place in BrickJournal and we would also like to put Michael in the spotlight.
This LEGO® helicopter miniature is over 30 inches long and consists largely of LEGO® technic parts. Michael has done extensive research on the Apache combat helicopter and one of his sons also works with these helicopters in the US Army. Michael's own experiences in the space industry came in handy during the design as well. His goal was to make the Apache as realistic as possible from just LEGO® parts. He largely succeeded and only the LED lighting and the tires of the landing gear are currently made of non-LEGO® parts. Thanks to the electrical systems, the rotors can rotate and the Apache shines flares of light underneath the helicopter. Although we are very impressed with this Apache AH-64 miniature model, Michael is not completely satisfied yet. He wants to add some more details to make the LEGO® Apache AH-64 even more realistic.
We are very proud that Michael orders his LEGO® parts from us and that ToyPro is his favorite LEGO® online store. It is also very inspiring for us to see that customers have so much fun and satisfaction from LEGO®. Have you designed a nice LEGO® MOC set yourself and would you like to share it with us?
