LEGO® 300173 - 3001 - Brick 2 x 4
Brick is often used as a general term for a LEGO component. For the connoisseur, a brick is the basic stone: a LEGO item that is 3 plates high, has a rectangular shape and has at least one stud. The studs on the top and the tubes on the bottom ensure that stones can be stacked in many different ways. Did you know that with six LEGO bricks of 2 x 4 you make more than 915 million different combinations!
The size of a stone is expressed in studs. The smallest stone is 1 x 1 and the largest is 12 x 24. Stones that are higher than three plates are also given a height indication, for example 1 x 2 x 5. Please note, the height of a stone is larger than a stud.
