Sporting a cybernetic mohawk and a flying arrow that he can control by whistling, Yondu Udonta is the leader of the scurvy space-pirate gang known as the Ravagers. Years ago, Yondu carried out the capture of young Peter Quill, a.k.a. Star-Lord, but refused to turn the boy over to his mysterious alien father. Motivated by money and little else, Yondu nonetheless is fond of Star-Lord and would prefer not to harm him...at least not unless he was getting a really big reward for it.
