A hinge consists of two parts, where one part engages in the other and can still move relative to each other; they hinge.
This dark gray 1 x 2 hinge stone has on one side a two-finger vertical clamp. Combine this stone with a stone with a vertical grip, to let the stone hinge. The stones can rotate 180 degrees relative to each other in the vertical plane. The minimum angle between the stones is 90 degrees.
The serrations or teeth on the clamp ensure that the hinge cannot rotate freely, but is slightly blocked in the desired position. This hinge has a rotation lock for 7 positions.
