MOC Truck T13

Not only LEGO® designs great sets. Others also design great and ingenious construction sets using LEGO®-parts. We call these community designs MOC’s which is short for My Own Creation. The possibilities are endless. Think for example of MOC Trucks with matching trailers or fast sports cars for the petrol-heads. Or MOC sets of iconic buildings, monuments or even animals! The most beautiful designs by top designers will get a place at ToyPro. The first MOC available via ToyPro will be the Truck T13 designed by Ingmar Spijkhoven. You can find it in the MOC set section at ToyPro.com.
The T13 is a 6x4 Australian style truck. The model is based on Scania’s 143M Torpedo truck in a 1:17,5 scale. Just like the real Scania the model has a ladder chassis which holds all components. As one of the designers trademarks this truck model has full solid axle suspension on all axles including the front steered axle. To provide the front steered axle with both suspension and steering an ingeniously designed 3D printed part has been used. This makes the whole front axle’s installation both extremely realistic and functional. This part is included in the T13 MOC kit available at Toypro but those who prefer to stick with genuine LEGO® can replace the 3D printed part with parts from the LEGO® Technic Flex Cable system.
The Truck T13 is the first design by Ingmar Spijkhoven that will be available from ToyPro. Ingmar mainly focuses on designing trucks, trailers and excavators which he models after real life trucks, always using a 1:17,5 scale. This makes all his designs easy to combine. Therefore we at ToyPro hope to be able to offer more of Spijkhovens designs, including a trailer that can be combined with the T13 truck, very soon.
The T13’s building manual can be yours for only € 25,00 ($ 22). It is a digital building instruction, which the buyer will be able to view online by logging in to your ToyPro account. No paper booklet means that you won’t end up with a damaged or unreadable manual and its better for the environment. The manual will always be available at Toypro in a tablet and laptop friendly version. The complete T13 set, containing the online manual and the over 2800 parts, is now available at ToyPro with a € 100 ($ 89) discount.
