How cool is the new Friends set?

We take a look at the new LEGO® Friends set with a winter atmosphere. LEGO® Friends Igloo Adventure 41760. Is the set worth it or are we not getting hot for it? We check it out in this review.

This set contains 491 parts, which works out to about 10 cents per part if we take the recommended retail price from LEGO®. Two minifigures are included, these are Aliya and Paisley. Also included is a micro-doll of Ella and two different printed dogs.

In total, there are four bags of parts, two booklets, a sticker sheet and a loose cable. For the first part, we need bag one and two. Building starts with putting together Aliya, Ella and a sled for the dogs. The dogs can be attached to the sled by means of a harness (which, by the way, is a new part). We continue building a board and after this we make the jacuzzi, although it looks a bit fresh by using the blue waterfall. The snow-covered trees, bench and fire pit do make it a very cosy structure.

We build the igloo itself using the second booklet and for this we need the parts from bags 3 and 4. We will also find Paisley in this. The igloo has room for 3 beds, which are attached by means of A-shaped parts so that the beds can be placed at an angle.

Furthermore, cups of hot chocolate are ready in the igloo to warm up nicely. They can drink these in front of the fireplace that also fits inside the igloo. To play with the minifigures in the igloo, you can unfold the roof, making everything accessible. After attaching the party lights, the construction is finished and you can play to your heart's content.

Conclusion

This LEGO® Friends Igloo is a fun addition to the LEGO® Friends theme. Especially when combined with the 41756 Vacation Ski slope and Cafe. In the jacuzzi the friends can relax and in the igloo they can warm up again after a day of skiing. Despite not being a very large set, there are plenty of building challenges and interesting building techniques in it. The little details like the footprints in front of the door and the smoke plume from the stove do complete this set. In short, we think this is a very successful set that you will have a lot of winter fun with.
