LEGO® and One Piece join forces

After years of rumours and fan requests, it is finally here: LEGO® and One Piece have joined forces. From 1 August 2025, fans of both building blocks and pirate stories can immerse themselves in the world of the Straw Hat Pirates with a brand new range of LEGO sets based on the hugely popular Netflix live-action series. The collaboration marks an important moment for both brands - a combination of creative freedom and nostalgic power.

Windmill Village Hut (75636)

A hero's journey always starts somewhere - and in the case of Monkey D. Luffy, it's in the peaceful Windmill Village. LEGO® beautifully brings this origin to life with the Windmill Village Hut set, which takes both younger and older fans back to the moment when it all began. Because: Every adventure needs a start. Every hero needs an inspiration. With 299 parts, this set is a loving ode to the very beginning of One Piece. The iconic scene in which a young Luffy secretly takes a bite of the Gum-Gum Fruit - hidden by Shanks - is retold here, but in stone form. The charming beach shop with removable roof is filled with accessories that allow fans to reenact life in Windmill Village: from serving customers to maintaining the shop.

LEGO One Piece 75636

For the first time, we get minifigures of the young Monkey D. Luffy, the legendary Shanks and Makino. Each character is carefully designed to reflect their unique personality and appearance, including details like Luffy's straw hat and Shanks' signature cape. A special detail is the addition of a collectible "Wanted" poster, subtly hidden in the set - a nod to the future that awaits Luffy. This set is not only a great starting point for LEGO builders aged 8 and up, but also a heartwarming reminder for seasoned fans: this is where it all began. A small hut by the sea, a mysterious fruit, and a dream of becoming the world's greatest pirate.

Buggy the Clown's Circus tent (75637)

Another highlight is the set based on Buggy's circus-like arena. The makers have cleverly managed to capture the chaos and absurdity of Buggy the Clown and his crew in a colourful, dynamic structure. Moving parts, cage elements and a collapsible arena ensure that every fan can play out the confrontation between Luffy and Buggy in their own way.

Battle at Arlong Park (75638)

And then, of course, there's Arlong Park - for many, a key moment in the One Piece story. LEGO has chosen a build here that features both the park's iconic tower and gate, along with characters such as Arlong, Usopp and, of course, Luffy. Everything is aimed at making tangible the dramatic moment when Luffy literally demolishes the park. At almost a thousand pieces, it is one of the larger sets, and one that invites you to delve deeper.

The Going Merry Pirate Ship (75639)

But perhaps the beating heart of this collection is the Going Merry, the Straw Hat crew's first ship. The model is detailed down to the smallest detail, from the hull and sails to the interior, where you'll find the galley and sleeping quarters, among others. The set includes all the main characters from the early stages of the journey: Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji. The Going Merry is more than a ship - it is a symbol of camaraderie, and LEGO manages to capture that feeling flawlessly.

The Baratie Floating Restaurant (75640)

For adult fans, there is another special showpiece: the 18+ set of the Baratie restaurant. This massive, luxurious set consists of more than 3,400 bricks and is intended for the true construction enthusiast. It includes everything - from the elegant dining room to the industrial kitchen where Sanji does his magic. There are dozens of references to scenes from the series, including hidden details such as Mihawk's duel with Zoro and the confrontation with Don Krieg. The figures are sophisticated, the colours vibrant and the end result downright impressive. For many fans, this will be the ultimate set to get in the house.

What makes these sets truly special is the way LEGO has introduced new techniques and parts to honour the One Piece universe. Luffy's expandable limbs were realised with innovative bendable elements, while headgear of characters like Zoro, Usopp and Buggy were given brand new shapes. It shows that this is not a simple rebranding of existing parts, but an in-depth collaboration where the creators really listened to the wishes of the fans.
