The Mantizoid minifigure is part of the LEGO® Galaxy Squad theme, an action-packed series where human space soldiers battle against swarming, insect-like alien invaders. As one of the primary alien antagonists, Mantizoid represents the bug creatures that threaten to transform planets into hives and challenge the resourceful squads of human defenders. This character brings the classic "space bug" conflict to life, fitting right into the fast-paced, creature-versus-soldier action that defines the Galaxy Squad universe.
Mantizoid stands out with its menacing olive green and red exoskeleton, featuring insect-like details on the torso and legs that evoke a truly alien appearance. The figure's headpiece is sculpted with large, black compound eyes and two prominent antennae, giving it a distinctive, monstrous look. With detailed markings that mimic natural armor and menacing mandibles, Mantizoid captures the essence of an invading space bug ready for battle.
This minifigure pairs especially well with other Galaxy Squad aliens like the Alien Mosquitoid and Alien Buggoid, allowing for imaginative battles against the heroic members of the human teams such as Solomon Blaze or Billy Starbeam. For extra fun, consider adding accessories like alien blasters or a cocoon piece to recreate the iconic Galaxy Squad confrontations—these accessories are available separately and can help expand your collection of LEGO® space adventures.
