Ethian Moreau had a point to prove. Alpine's French driver was often underestimated - too inexperienced, too aggressive, too risky. But today, at his home track in France, he set out to show why he belonged in Formula One.

The race began with difficulty. Ethian started from P7, but his Alpine felt perfect. Already in the first laps he fought his way to the front, with a bold overtaking move at Signes. The pit wall held its breath - this was Ethan at his best.

Halfway through the race he was third, just behind a Ferrari and a Red Bull. The strategy was crucial. While the Red Bull dove in for new tires, Ethan stayed out. "Give me three more laps," he shouted over the radio. His tires were worn out, but he was going all out.

His engineer gave the green light for the pit stop. The Alpine team delivered a lightning-fast stop, and Ethan re-entered the track just ahead of the Red Bull. With five laps to go, he was second.

The final lap. He was on the tail of the Ferrari. In an all-or-nothing effort, he put his car next to his rival's in the chicane. The wheels almost touched, but Ethan held on. Coming out of the corner, he was ahead.

The finish flag fell. Ethan Moreau wins the French Grand Prix! The crowd cheered, the French flags waved. He had silenced his critics - and given Alpine a home victory no one had expected.
