LEGO® launches new Mindstorms Robot Inventor 51515

The LEGO® Mindstorms EV3 31313 has a successor: Robot Inventor 51515. In this article you can read all about this new programmable LEGO® robot.

The Mindstorms EV3 31313 was already launched in 2013 and it was therefore time for a successor. With the Robot Inventor 51515, fans of LEGO® and programming can have fun again for years to come.

The new Mindstorms kit has 50% more parts than its predecessor (949 vs 601) and there are 5 programmable standard models you can build: Tricky, Blast, Charlie, M.V.P. and Gelo. Of course you can also start building your own creation. In addition, there are 50 challenges that help you learn to program in a fun way. This way you can write programs to make your set run, talk and think. You can also write your own programs and control the robot with the Inventor App. In addition, you can connect the Mindstorms Robot Inventor to other controllers via Bluetooth.

LEGO® wants to introduce children to technology and programming in a fun way through the Mindstorms program. Programming can be difficult and by stimulating children in a playful way, LEGO® hopes that more children will opt for a technical study at a later age.
