LEGO® and IKEA introduce BYGGLEK

2 years ago, LEGO® and IKEA announced that they were going to work together. Now the 2 Scandinavian companies have presented their first joint series: BYGGLEK. In this post you will learn more about these playful storage boxes.
Play and store
Both LEGO® and IKEA are known for stylish, handy solutions and this is also reflected in the BYGGLEK storage boxes. The boxes feature LEGO® studs and there will also be a LEGO® brick set to play with. The BYGGLEK boxes can therefore be made part of larger LEGO® creations.
With this new series, LEGO® and IKEA want to encourage children to play creatively and make tidying up more fun. The companies want to make the home an even nicer place and remove everyday barriers. The BYGGLEK storage boxes offer parents and children the opportunity to play together with LEGO® (and tidy up the house of course). So although we are writing about storage boxes, BYGLEKK offers actually a nice combination of storage and play.
The BYGLEKK series comes with 4 products. One set consisting of 3 small boxes, 2 sets with larger boxes and a set with LEGO® bricks. The boxes can of course also be used with LEGO® that you already own.
The new BYGLEKK items will be for sale at IKEA in Europe and North America on October 1, 2020. The rest of the world will follow later this year.
