Go on an interactive adventure. With new digital storytelling experience, LEGO® City Missions puts you in charge of customising the building sets with pure imagination and creativity to solve exciting missions. It's the latest LEGO City innovation that takes you into an amazing world of interactive adventures and missions to solve through instruction-free building challenges and on-screen engagement with the minifigures.
LEGO City Missions launches with three sets based on animal rescue, space exploration and police detective mysteries. Each model is accompanied by an interactive story, with each story containing eight exciting missions. You'll get inspiration to build the basic models, then you can keep building and customising the models to suit the different scenarios, clues and missions you'll encounter in each story.
"The team behind LEGO CITY Missions wanted to explore a new route to celebrate children's imagination and allow their creativity to flourish while building LEGO. From talking to children and their parents, we know that creative confidence is key to children's well-being and with this new product we want to help every child recognise their unique creations and be proud of them." With LEGO City Missions we have worked hard to create a strong balance of stories to get kids building, but also to give them open-ended tasks and room for their own interpretation. During testing we're constantly reminded that children are creative geniuses, so we really can't wait to see what they come up with!"
Using a QR code in the box, the interactive stories can be accessed through the LEGO Digital Building Instructions app. Children who are looking for new ways to build and challenge their inner design skills will love these new products and indulge in endless hours of creative play where only imagination sets the limit to the models built for each mission.
The LEGO City Wild Animal Rescue Missions set lets children build and create to save the day. Using the basic model, the rescue pickup truck, children can rebuild and accessorise their set as they solve missions throughout the story. In the digital stories, children play the lead role by interacting with on-screen characters such as Westbrook, Jessica Sharpe and Fendrich to solve challenges during their building experience and rescue animals in the city from precarious situations.
LEGO CITY Mars Spaceship Exploration Mission Building launches kids on an exciting adventure aboard the space shuttle to explore Mars! Grab the spaceship to customize and complete fun missions through the included digital story. With Astronaut Lt. Rivera and Dr. Wexler, kids will find endless fun and excitement as they team up with these in-app characters to explore space and Mars.
LEGO City Water Police Detective Missions gives kids the chance to join the LEGO CITY Police team and solve the ocean mystery. Kids customize the police boat with accessories like a camera, trophy, diver's mask, handcuffs, walkie-talkie and more to play detective and team up with favorite characters like Chief Wheeler and Gracie Goodhart to complete missions. And don't forget to bring your favourite furry friend to help with the job.
With each adventure chosen by the children, with different assignments, there is plenty of opportunity for them to be the heroes of the story. Using the power of storytelling, imagination is ignited, and with the included LEGO bricks, children can extend the physical play experience as they continually build and rebuild.
A smartphone or tablet with the LEGO Building Instructions app installed is required to play LEGO CITY Missions.

In this theme you will find police, fire brigade, hospital, medical emergency services and airport sets with associated vehicles. LEGO® City also offers adventurous arctic, and aerospace.
