Celebrate LEGO® Rebuild The World 2021 with these fun MOCs!

With LEGO® you can let your creativity run free and create the most beautiful things. In doing so, LEGO® supports the development of children. LEGO® considers it important that children learn useful skills with the help of LEGO® and therefore pays a lot of attention to this. An example of this is the 'Rebuild The World' campaign, which has been running for three years now. LEGO® made a nice video about this campaign to introduce the theme of 2021.
The Damp Knight's tale: Creativity can help us overcome anything!
Through its Rebuild The World campaign, LEGO® teaches children skills like communication and resilience. This year, the focus is on analysing problems and solving them creatively. The emphasis is on cooperation: building new things together, testing them, starting again and succeeding. The video shows all of this beautifully. In the video, a knight wants to cross a river, but his attempts keep failing. The whole village sees this and all inhabitants think up and build a solution, so that the knight can cross after all.
The project already has some great examples. For example, 12-year old Dylan made a wheelchair from LEGO® for a little dog without front legs from the animal shelter where he volunteered. Thanks to his creative invention, the puppy could go on an adventure again. Another example is 12-year-old George, who struggled to make friends due to his autism. By working on LEGO® projects with others at the Brick Club, George found it much easier to open up to others. So besides these two stories, there are countless other examples of how LEGO® helps children with their development.
