PV-Productions launches LEGO® 42098 Alternate: GBC 38 Funky Ferris Wheel

LEGO® designer Philip Verbeek of PV-Productions has released a new Great Ball Contraption. With the parts of LEGO® 42098 Car Transporter you can build this impressive and large Ferris wheel including the GBC system. Want to know more about this? Then watch the video and read our blog post.
To build this GBC construction set you only need the parts of the standard Car Transporter set, with the exception of the GBC balls that you can order from PV-Productions. This means you get twice as much construction fun from one set.
GBC 38 Funky Ferris Wheel has an area of no less than 31.5 by 27.56 inch and is 9.84 inch high. This MOC is a Great Ball Contraption and this means that the balls move automatically throughout the system. The Ferris wheel has 12 gondolas that are used to transport the balls.
With this mechanism, balls are automatically loaded into the gondolas.
This MOC is full of smart building techniques and is therefore fun for anyone who loves LEGO® Technic. For example, there is a system at the bottom of the Ferris wheel that automatically detects when a gondola passes and then loads a ball into the gondola. Another system ensures that the Ferris wheel always turns in the right direction.
You can expand the GBC 38 Funky Ferris Wheel with the GBC Tunnel Turbo Spin or Xylophone keys.
With the optional GBC Funnel Turbo Spin you can give the balls an extra spin.
The optional Xylophone keys provide music.
