The LEGO® Technic set of the John Deere 9700 Forage Harvester is great to make and looks great on its own. But did you know that you can also make other models from it? How about a John Deere Lawn Mowing Tractor or the John Deere Zero-Turn mower. You can even turn it into a Dragracer. We have put together the instructions for these models so you can recreate them too. That way you'll get even more building fun out of this LEGO® model.

John Deere Dragster

First up we have the John Deere Dragster, created by MOC creator mla2. This MOC turns the 42168 John Deere 9700 Forage Harvester set into John's own Dragster. The Dragster can be built with the parts from the 42168 set. So no additional parts are needed. Parts with decals are positioned to be compatible from the original model. John Deere Zero-Turn mower

The next model is the John Deere Zero-Turn mower. This model has four mower blades, each driven by the left and right rear wheel, an engine cover that can be opened, an exhaust, a seat and lights. The control levers are similar to a real zero-turn mower. This John Deere Zero-Turn mower can be made from the parts of set 42168-1 - John Deere 9700 chopper. It has a scale of about 1:10, depending on the real model you compare it to. Download the free instructions here.

John Deere Lawnmower Tractor

The John Deere Lawnmower Tractor can also be made with the parts from the John Deere 9700 Forage Harvester. You can lift or lower the mower with a lever and the bonnet can open, it also has suspension, steerable front wheels and you can even attach a snow plough. So a very comprehensive model. This mower, as well as the Zero-Turn mower, is made by MOC maker Larsagri. Download the free instructions for this model here.
