Did you know that LEGO® can also bring you luck? At least, if you build a lucky charm with it and that's exactly what grohl666 did. With the parts of the LEGO® 42117 he managed to build a lucky cat, which can also move its paw thanks to a clever construction. Read on to find out what kind of luck awaits you when you build this alternate!
LEGO® 42117 alternate Lucky Cat
A statue of a cat with its paw raised is a traditional good luck charm in Japan. The Japanese name for this figurine is Maneki Neko, which literally means 'beckoning cat'. The colour of the cat specifies in which area you get good luck and the higher the paw is raised, the more luck you receive. So this LEGO® version with its blue colour stands for good health. Which paw the kitten has up also has a special meaning. The left paw attracts customers and visitors and the right paw brings luck and wealth. This LEGO® Lucky Cat has its left paw raised, so you can put it at your front door to welcome your guests!
