Build a Vintage Sports Car

Get ready for an oldtimer race with this vintage sports car, 8 studs wide. inspired by the oldtimer taxi from LEGO® (40532). Which was given away as GWP (gift with purchase).
This nice creation or MOC (My Own Creation) was made by SFH_Bricks, and for the design he got inspiration from the Oldtimer taxi from LEGO® but also from the Bugatti Type 57c Atalante, a real classic with lots of nice round shapes. In this LEGO® design you also see the grill and the large wheel arches of the Bugatti. With this design you can imagine yourself back in the 40s.
Would you like to add a bit more colour to the car? SFH_Bricks designed the car in such a way that you can easily change the whole look of the car with another colour. We ourselves adapted the design a bit for the nice weather this summer. We turned it into a convertible. By removing the roof part from step 46-49 and replacing it with a 2 x 4 plate, with two 2 x 2 slopes and a 1 x 4 brick.
Because the car is designed in eight studs wide, this design fits perfectly in the LEGO® Speed Champions series of which SFH_Bricks is a big fan. On his Instagram page you can find many more old sports cars but also some newer ones. And often he has the instructions on his Rebrickable site, so you can download and build these models too.
