Build a TX-130 Microfighter

Star Wars fans certainly know it as the TX-130 tank. This tank appears in the Star Wars video games and first appeared in the game Star Wars: the Clone Wars. And later in the game Battlefront as an Imperial vehicle. The vehicle got a different skin in that and was then called the Republic TX-130S. Since then, the tank has also featured in the comic book: Star Wars: Dark Times: The Path to Nowhere.
So now you can recreate this TX-130 tank in miniature. This small version of the tank was created by Doudoubricks and his Rebrickable page features more Star Wars Microfighters. We have broken down his build into easy building steps for you. and you can download these instructions here. About the TX-130 Tank
During the Clone Wars, the 8.2-metre-long TX-130T Version was used. this was an improved version of the TX-130 Saber-class tank. The difference in this was that the TX-130T Version offered extra protection and included extra shields. The Tank was about 3 metres wide and 2.3 metres high. The vehicle's normal maximum speed was 193 km/h but a repulse boost allowed it to go up to 321 km/h. This was a short temporary boost, though. Besides the pilot and gunner, the vehicle could carry 100 kg of cargo and accommodated up to five passengers. It was armed with a single gun turret at the top, two heavy laser cannons on either side of the cockpit and a pair of computer-controlled rocket launchers along the fuselage. The launchers fired thermal detonators or battle missiles, with a payload of eight missiles. The upper gunner had no shielding around most of his body, making it easy for enemy snipers to aim at a stationary vehicle and kill the gunner. The TX-130T was used to support infantry attacks and was also used in an anti-gun role. It was also used as a fast raider or as a scout.
Microfighters
LEGO® itself has released quite a few microfighters since they were introduced in 2014. In total, there are already more than 35 different ones. Each set contains one microfighter and one minifigure pilot. The microfighters are small versions of larger Star Wars ships - just like Star Wars minisets - except with exaggerated features and a seat for the one minifigure that comes with the set.
