The Pirates Are Back!

A few weeks back we were talking about how cool it would be if a new set of the Pirates theme came out again. They probably heard that at LEGO®, because as of July 4, 2023, the Eldorado Fortress (10320) will be available!

The Eldorado Fortress, also known as Governor's Fort Sabre, was a LEGO Pirate set based on imperial forts from the Golden Age of Piracy and the original set was unveiled in 1989. The new 2509-piece set is highly detailed and includes the fort with a working gate, a prison, a working crane and trap doors, plus an imperial ship and a small pirate rowboat. In addition, the set includes six minifigures of soldiers and two minifigures of pirates - plus a cheeky little monkey.

The long-awaited return of the Pirate theme is in response to high demand from LEGO fans, after the theme topped the charts in a recent 90th anniversary vote on the LEGO Ideas platform.
