Top 20 most sought-after LEGO® minifigure parts of 2026

What makes a LEGO® minifigure special? Sometimes it’s a distinctive head, sometimes legs in a different colour, and sometimes a small accessory that suits the character perfectly. Individual minifigure parts give you endless possibilities to assemble figures, repair them or give them a new look.

In this top 20 for 2026, you’ll find sought-after LEGO® minifigure parts that are surprisingly useful even outside the world of minifigures. Think of robot arms, roller skates as miniature wheels, and unprinted heads as decorative building elements. Discover which parts will take your next building project to the next level!

This selection is intended as building inspiration for 2026, not a sales ranking. Different colours of the same part are listed separately.

1. Black mechanical Battle Droid arm – 30377

A compact part with plenty of possibilities. The black Battle Droid arm goes well with mechanical figures and is also useful for small robot constructions. The clip connections mean it can be used to join compatible rods. Please note: this is a mechanical arm, not a replacement for a standard minifigure arm.

2. Transparent unprinted minifigure head – 3626

A minifigure head doesn’t always have to have a face. The transparent version also serves as a creative starting point for lights, glass details and small displays. It is precisely the combination of a recognisable shape and transparent material that makes this part interesting to experiment with.

3. Light grey mechanical Battle Droid arm – 30377

The light grey version of the Battle Droid arm complements machines, robots and technical constructions beautifully. Use this colour when you want to suggest a metallic look. Its slender shape helps you incorporate mechanical details even into a small model.

4. Transparent orange flame and plume element – 64647

This small element can serve various purposes. Its shape lends itself to a flame, a magical effect or an eye-catching detail on a suitable headpiece. In transparent orange, it adds colour to a campfire, a fantasy figure or a miniature motorbike.

5. Black minifigure legs with hips – 970c00

Black legs are a versatile base for custom-built minifigures. They combine easily with a wide range of torsos, from a smart jacket to an adventurous outfit. This set comprises the hips and both legs, giving you a complete lower body.

6. Light grey roller skate – 11253

A roller skate isn’t just fun on a minifigure’s foot. The small wheel design can also be used as a detail in miniature vehicles and machines. The light grey colour goes well with technical models where you want to add subtle shapes.

7. Black roller skate – 11253

Black roller skates give a sporty minifigure a recognisable activity. This colour is also interesting for small vehicles: the wheels stand out without overpowering the colour scheme of the build. You’ll need two of these for a minifigure on two roller skates.

8. Light grey neck clip with a stud on the back – 42446

Do you want to attach a homemade rucksack or compact kit to a minifigure? This neck clip provides an attachment point on the back. The part is placed between the head and the torso. When doing so, check that the chosen hairstyle or headgear leaves enough space.

9. Dark grey mechanical Battle Droid arm – 30377

Dark grey gives mechanical constructions a different look to black or light grey. This Battle Droid arm is ideal for robots, grippers and visible joints. By deliberately combining shades of grey, you can visually distinguish different parts of a machine from one another.

10. Black curved skeleton arm – 93609

The curved shape of this skeleton arm offers possibilities for skeletons and fantasy figures. Thanks to the clips, the part can also be used in small mechanical constructions. The black version suits dark-coloured characters or connections that should attract little attention.

11. Black minifigure hand – 983

A small part that can make a big difference. Black hands can give the impression that a minifigure is wearing gloves and therefore go well with winter clothing, workwear and all sorts of adventurous outfits. This is also a useful spare part for replacing a missing hand.

12. Black mechanical Exo-Force/Bionicle arm – 98313

This mechanical arm has a different shape to the Battle Droid arm. That makes it an interesting choice for anyone building robots and compact machines. Be sure to compare the connection points and the available space when trying out different mechanical arms in a design.

13. Unprinted black minifigure head – 3626

An unprinted black head provides a simple base for a stylised character. Apart from minifigures, the cylindrical shape can also serve as a detail in a machine, piece of furniture or set piece. The absence of a face makes the part highly versatile.

14. Matt silver roller skate – 11253

The matt silver finish gives this small roller skate a metallic look. This makes it ideal for a futuristic sportsman or sportswoman, but also for adding details to robots and miniature vehicles. A small splash of colour can give even a simple build more character.

15. White minifigure legs with hips – 970c00

White legs provide a neutral base for all sorts of outfits. Combine them, for example, with a matching sporty torso or a space suit of your own design. This unprinted version gives you the freedom to determine the character’s look using the other parts.

16. White minifigure head with skull print – 3626pb0001

The classic skull is instantly recognisable. This head is perfect for skeletons, pirate adventures and mysterious dungeons. Even as a standalone decorative detail, it can tell a story – for example, in a treasure chamber or an abandoned ruin.

17. Dark grey curved skeleton arm – 93609

The dark grey version allows you to create different accents than with a white or black skeleton arm. The slender, curved shape is ideal for fantasy creatures and small robot constructions. Always check the direction of the clips when combining pieces.

18. White unprinted minifigure head – 3626

This white head offers scope for a minimalist character or an abstract figure. The round shape can also be incorporated into lamps, decorations and small interior details. It’s a good example of a minifigure part that can also be used as a standard building element.

19. Black Skeleton Leg – 6266

The black skeleton leg is a slender alternative to standard minifigure legs. Use it in a suitable skeleton build or explore what the shape might add to a fantasy creature. This is a single leg and not a complete set comprising hips and legs.

20. Dark blue minifigure legs with hips – 970c00

Dark blue legs are a versatile choice for city dwellers, travellers and characters in uniform. The colour pairs well with both light and dark torsos, allowing you to assemble different figures without every outfit looking the same.

Extra building tip: the dark grey neck clip 42446 provides an attachment point for custom-built back gear. You’ll find this additional part as the third item in the row below, next to numbers 19 and 20.

What should you look out for when buying individual LEGO® minifigure parts?

When choosing parts, always check the part number, colour and design. A single skeleton bone is not the same as a complete lower body, and a mechanical arm has different connections to a standard minifigure arm.

With heads and accessories, the combination is also important. Will a hairstyle fit over a neck accessory? Does a headpiece have the right connection for a plume? By checking these details in advance, you can choose parts that suit your building idea.
