Once again JK Brickworks has created a great display model from LEGO®. This time it's a display of a group of four prairie dogs. These prairie dogs all move due to different mechanisms that are used.
This structure is driven by an electric motor, but you could of course also easily drive it by hand. By placing a crank where the motor would normally be. You could also choose to replace the prairie dogs for other animals. Like meerkats for instance. They already look very much alike, so this will have to do. By the way, the big difference between prairie dogs and meerkats is that meerkats are carnivores and prairie dogs are herbivores. However, they both live underground in groups. But well, let's not digress any further and stick to the LEGO®. JK Brickworks made some nice miniature structures in the body of the model to avoid a boring exterior. Furthermore the environment in which the prairie dogs are located is perhaps a bit boring. But that's also the way it is in real life. And who knows, if you are going to build this model and choose other animals, you can create a completely different environment.
In any case we think this is another very nice build by JK Brickworks and we thank him for sharing this with us. Be sure to follow him on his Youtube channel for more inspiring builds.
