A member of the amphibious Mon Calamari species, Admiral Ackbar was a leader of the Rebel Alliance during the battle against the Galactic Empire. He commanded the Alliance’s forces in the attack on the second Death Star, and was one of the first to realize the Emperor’s trap when the half-built battle station unexpectedly proved to be fully armed and operational.
