A hinge consists of two parts, where one part engages in the other and can still move relative to each other; they hinge.
This yellow 2 x 2 hinge stone with a vertical grip forms a hinge together with a stone with vertical clamp. The stones can rotate 180 degrees relative to each other with a minimum angle between the stones of 90 degrees.
The 2 x 2 brick has a axle hole. The arbor hole has a (new) shape that looks a bit more like an X.
