A gripper can be very useful for a lot of applications. Of course it is used to pick something up or if you can't reach something. But you can also use them in a GBC (Great Ball Contraption), or make a LEGO® gripper machine? 2in1 Bricking shows you in the video below how to make 3 simple but very strong grippers. He shows you 2 versions with 2 claws and one with 4 claws.
As you can see, the grippers are made of fairly simple LEGO® Technic parts so you can copy them too or maybe watching this video has inspired you to develop one of the grippers further. The four claws gripper would be excellent to use in a gripper machine build like the one made by BrickBrosProductions a few years ago. Don't you know their building yet? Then you can take a look at this awesome construction below.
2in1 Bricking shows on his YouTube channel a lot more LEGO® Technic tricks which can be used in your own building. So do you want to learn more techniques or get more inspiration? Then take a look. If you want to see the descriptions of these builds you can visit the Rebrickable page of 2in1 Bricking.
