Barely a month before the opening of this year's NBA season, a fan of Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid made a 7-foot LEGO® statue in honor of him. Embiid's statue is in full Sixers uniform standing on another LEGO®-made team logo. It is quite impressive to see how neatly arranged the details are. This only proves that hard work and dedication truly bear great fruit. How much time the fan took to build this is something we may not have an idea of, but definitely it shows his passionate skills. From the moment it was posted online, different reactions from all over the world quickly surfaced as fans of both LEGO® and NBA come together and be impressed by this masterpiece. Meanwhile, Joel Embiid is reportedly not yet cleared for 5-on-5 drill, being on period of recovery since his last surgery in March to repair a torn meniscus in his knee. Team president Bryan Colangelo together with coach Brett Brown told the ESPN team that cautious approach will definitely be taken. "It's not about being ready for the first practice or the first game," Colangelo said. "And he will be out there for the first practice and the first game. The question is how much, how little, if at all. Those things will be determined by certain criteria along the way.", Colangelo added. Now seeing this tribute for Joel make a fuss online leaves the fans in anticipation on how Sixers' "The Process" will react upon knowing about his fantastic LEGO® replica. Photo Credit: reddit.com
