Zane is one of the four ninjas originally trained by sensei Wu, alongside Jay, Kai and Cole. Zane is the white ninja, commanding the element of ice. Unlike the other ninjas, Zane is actually a robot, or 'Nindroid'. When the ninjas battle Aspheera, Zane is banished to the Never-Realm and is manipulated into becoming the ice emperor by general Vex.
