In the company of Marion Ravenwood, his hot-tempered and independent former girlfriend, Indiana Jones sets off on a quest to find the mystical Ark of the Covenant. Indy must discover the Ark before the Nazis do, and to do so he must survive poisons, traps, snakes and treachery.
Marion is kidnapped by the Nazis. When Jones, with Sallah's help, finds Marion and the Ark, Henry Jones and Marion Ravenwood are locked in the tomb. Fortunately, they manage to escape and after a mad chase, Jones manages to recapture the Ark.
