You probably know this scenario: You just finished your new LEGO model or GBC and you want to run a test run with it with a connected motor. But it spins too fast and destroys your model in seconds.

LEGO offers a number of ways to control motor speed with special remote controls or custom software. Optionally, you can also downshift the mechanisms, but sometimes this just doesn't fit the space or isn't precise enough. When using the standard LEGO Power Functions battery box you have 100% power or no power. Then there is the option of using a special battery box that allows you to control the power in 8 steps. Finally, there is the option to use the Power Functions remote control, but this is getting out of hand! We just want to control the speed of the motor or the brightness of the light with one dial. Once you get your hands on our Power Controller for LEGO, you'll never go back. Our Power Controller for LEGO is not only easy to use, but also has a number of unique features that will help you play with your LEGO models much better.

Let's cover the geek language first! Our Power Controller for LEGO has stepless power control, which means you can set the motor speed exactly the way you want it. Instead of the 8 steps of the official LEGO system, we give you infinite steps and precision, literally! Infinite freedom for victory! Identification points on the front tell you where the button is placed and give you a good reference for the next time you turn on the motor.
On the bottom of the Power Controller are 2 LEGO Technic connection holes that are very handy if you want to incorporate the Power Controller into your LEGO models. The whole thing is designed according to LEGO dimensions, so there are many ways to fit it neatly into your builds.
To get even more flexibility, we decided it was best to extend the Power Functions connector with a short cable. This allows you to put the Power Controller for LEGO anywhere you want and you're not tied to the location of the battery box. Nice!

This compact and robust Power Controller for LEGO is 100% compatible with all LEGO Power Functions devices such as motors and lights. Use it with all LEGO Power Functions battery boxes or with our USB Power Box - PF/PF. You don't need any electronics knowledge and installation is as simple as plugging the power connector into the compatible LEGO power system. Simple and reliable.

Compatibility and use cases

To use the Power Controller for LEGO correctly, it is important to pay attention to 2 things. If you do not connect it correctly, the Power Controller will not work properly.

First, you need to know that the bottom (anti-nuts) of the Power Functions connector is the input to the Power Controller. You need to connect it to a LEGO Power Functions battery box or our USB Power Box - PF/PF. You'll notice that the 2 middle contacts are missing here, which is the point!

Also note that the top (studs) of the Power Functions connector is the output of the Power Controller. You need to connect your LEGO motors or lights to this side. You can also add a LEGO Power Functions switch after the Power Controller and before the motor to change the motor's direction of rotation.

You can connect our compatible electronics in many ways, but the most common and standard order is stacked:

USB power source (Micro USB) → USB Power Box - PF/PF → Power Controller → Power Switch → Technic Motor
