Add more power to your LEGO® creation with LEGO® Power Functions!
Power function 88000, the AAA Battery Box, can hold 6 AAA (1.5V) batteries (not included). This 9V power bank can power up 2 XL motors or 4 M motors at once. The battery box measures 8 studs long, 4 studs wide and 4 bricks high and weights 40 gram without the 6 batteries of 1.5V.
On top is a green on/off button with an LED indicator, an orange reversing switch and a connection point for power cables. The battery box will automatically turn off after 2 hours. However, the auto-shutoff can be disabled by pressing the power button for 3 seconds. The LED will blink, indicating that the battery box will stay on until turned off or the batteries drain fully.
The 88000 LEGO® Power Functions is first released in 2011 and was originally only available in Switzerland, Austria, and Germany.
