Recreate real suspension with LEGO® and see how it works!

Ever wondered how cars and trucks absorb shocks? It all has to do with the vehicle's suspension. This is the system of tyres, springs and shock absorbers that connects a vehicle to its wheels. This system absorbs blows and shocks, among other things, so that you feel less of them while driving. Of course you can recreate this with LEGO® and that is exactly what we are going to look at today. LEGO® builder Superktechnic built this system with LEGO® Technic and shows you in the video below how it works!

How it works LEGO® springless suspension explained

In this short video Superktechnic shows the basic working of the LEGO® suspension. In the movie you can see how the suspension and the connection with the tyres works on a LEGO® truck. The principle is not that difficult to imitate. By connecting two pendulum axles you actually recreate the suspension. Easy, isn't it?
