Review: LEGO® DREAMZzz Crocodile Car 71458

Help save Jayden from the Night Hunter who captured him! Join Cooper and Logan as they use their dream skills to create the ultimate car and rescue their friend. Choose to build a crocodile car with a disc launcher to take out the Night Hunter or create a super-fast all-terrain vehicle and mini boat to chase him down.
Race through the dream world
To make a crocodile car or an all-terrain car or to make a car at all. Do need a "normal" car first, which we can later modify again to one of the two dream versions. So let's get to work quickly and see what's in the box. For this LEGO® DREAMZzz set, that's five bags, a small sticker sheet and, of course, the instructions.
We start with Jayden falling asleep and soon Night Hunter and Snivel arrive on their motorcycles to capture Jayden. Snivel has a mini motorcycle but still has a lot of detail. Of course Night Hunter has a big motorcycle. On the back of the motorcycle is a place made to take Jayden into the nightmare world.
Fortunately, Cooper also went to sleep and from the second bag and third bag we build him and the normal car. Cooper can be made with a helmet on or with hair. A helmet is obviously a bit safer when chasing Night Hunter at high speed. The car has a clever mechanism for shooting. And is extra high on the wheels so you can race over anything. But unfortunately not through the swamp. So Cooper unfortunately has to give up the chase.
Crocodile or all-terrain vehicle
Fortunately, Logan is in the fourth bag of LEGO® and he knows what they need to do to continue chasing the Night Hunter. They're building a Crocodile Car. Those are used to the swamp and then they walk right out. But we chose to make the all-terrain car with a small boat for Logan. That way Logan can sail through the swamp and Cooper can continue across the land. Which version will you make to stop Night Hunter?
The minifigures
In this set we find Cooper, Jayden, Logan, Snivel and Night Hunter as minifigures. Logan and Snivel both have the new small body and it is printed on Snivel. Snivel has shoulder protection and a new kind of head, and this is a 2x2x1 round stone. Logan has a face printed on two sides with an open mouth on one side and an angry face on the other. Jayden has purple pajamas with a unicorn motif and a sleeping or awake face. Cooper is wearing a red racing suit with loose blue belt. On one side of the little head he is sleeping and on the other he looks with a grin on his face. Night Hunter has a printed body and legs and wears a loose scarf and nightmare hat.
Conclusion
The car is solidly assembled so you can play with it to your heart's content and give chase to Night Hunter. The two different versions differ a lot from each other making it a truly different model. The shooting mechanism is ingenious and is nicely hidden inside the car.
