Nostalgia alert for LEGO fans! LEGO House, the ultimate LEGO experience center in Billund, Denmark, has announced the latest exclusive set: LEGO Fabuland Tribute (40506). This tribute to the iconic Fabuland characters from the 1980s is the sixth set in the LEGO House Special Edition series of products and will be available exclusively in the LEGO Store at LEGO House.
The set, designed by LEGO House Master Builder Stuart Harris and LEGO Senior Designer Markus Rollbühler, revives four beloved Fabuland characters: Edward Elephant, Joe Crow, Dr. Lucy Lamb and Clive Crocodile. Thanks to collaboration with LEGO Idea House historians, these characters have been redesigned according to modern LEGO design principles without losing their charm.

For Managing Director of LEGO House, Kathrine Kirk Muff, this set is a feast of recognition: "I used to play a lot with the original Fabuland sets myself. It is great to see these memories reflected in a modern LEGO set. This exclusive product is a unique keepsake for our visitors from all over the world."
Introduced in 1979, Fabuland was a revolutionary LEGO theme. It was the first LEGO series to combine building fun with storytelling elements. The sets' building instructions were special: they contained short stories in which the characters built the set and had fun at the same time.
The new LEGO Fabuland Tribute stays true to this tradition. The building instructions, designed by LEGO House Associate Master Builder Didac Perez, include original illustrations and are broken down by character. This allows builders to assemble the set both individually and with family or friends.

According to Stuart Harris, LEGO House Master Builder, Fabuland has had a lasting influence on later LEGO themes such as LEGO NINJAGO, LEGO Friends and LEGO Bionicle. "Fabuland was ahead of its time in storytelling. It is an honor to bring these characters back to life in this special set."
Starting March 1, 2025, this exclusive LEGO House Special Edition set will be available only at the LEGO Store at LEGO House, Billund, Denmark. Are you a true LEGO fan or do you have fond memories of Fabuland? Then this is a must-have for your collection!
