The iconic Toyota Supra MK4 from the Fast & Furious franchise is back, this time as an impressive LEGO® Technic model. With set number 42204, LEGO pays tribute to the beloved sports car of Brian O'Conner, played by Paul Walker, which has since achieved cult status.

This set consists of 810 parts and offers a realistic building experience with numerous technical details typical of the LEGO® Technic line. Think functioning differential, moving pistons in the 2JZ engine, working steering and suspension on the rear axle.

All this wrapped in a bright orange body with decals reminiscent of the original livery from the first Fast & Furious movie. Although the model and scale is simpler than some other Technic supercars, it is particularly appealing to young builders and fans of the movie series. It is a great entry-level set for those who want to be introduced to LEGO Technic as well as the Fast & Furious world.
The 42204 is not the first time LEGO has been inspired by Fast & Furious. Several sets have since been released based on iconic vehicles from the film series:
The set that started it all: the 42111 Dodge Charger, released in 2020, is a detailed replica of Dominic Toretto's 1970 Dodge Charger R/T. With 1,077 parts, this is a lot more complex than the Supra. The model has a V8 engine with moving pistons, suspension, steering function and even a wheelie stand for those typical "Fast & Furious" stunts.

This small but popular set from the Speed Champions series features Brian's silver-blue Skyline from the second film. With 319 parts, this set offers a fun, faster building experience and is scalable with other Speed Champions models. A minifigure of Brian O'Conner is included.

With the arrival of the 42204 Toyota Supra MK4, it is clear that LEGO is betting on the enduring popularity of Fast & Furious. Each model brings to life a piece of movie history, from muscle cars to JDM legends. Whether you enjoy building complex Technic models or are a fan of collectible Speed Champions cars, the LEGO Fast & Furious collection offers something for everyone.

In fact, LEGO has also announced the 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) 42210 car in large LEGO® Technic format and the Speed Champion-sized 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000. Both will be available starting June 1. The 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000 77241 is available exclusively through LEGO®. Are you ready to expand your collection?
