The LEGO® Architecture theme originated from the passion of the American architect Adam Reed Tucker. He combined his love for LEGO® and architecture, and designed LEGO® models of well-known buildings. His work was picked up by LEGO® and in 2008 they decided to work together. In this way the LEGO® Architecture theme was created.
Since then many beautiful sets have been released and new buildings are added every year. For example, you can build the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, the Sydney Opera House, the Trevi Fountains and the New York skyline with LEGO®. From different cities, such as New York, London and Paris, sets of various buildings are available. Every year new buildings are added, but LEGO® Architecture sets can also receive an update. This update is always an improvement and sets are getting therefore even more beautiful.
