LEGO® released new LEGO® road plates earlier this year. These can be found in new LEGO® City sets or you can order them as individual LEGO® road plates in our webshop. What are the differences between the old and new LEGO® road plates, and which ones are better? LEGO® designer Tiago Catarino made a video about it which you can see below.
The new LEGO® road plates are smaller and this allows you to make your LEGO® city more compact. Also, you can now make the sidewalk as big (or small) as you want. The new LEGO® road plates are easy to connect with other LEGO®, but they don't connect perfectly with the old LEGO® plates. In the new LEGO® road plates system there are no curbs (yet) and Tiago thinks that's a pity.
At ToyPro you can buy the new LEGO® road plates separately, Did you like this video? Check out Tiago Catarino's Youtube channel for more interesting videos about LEGO®.

Build your own LEGO® city with sets from the LEGO® City theme. LEGO® City is a classic theme that was introduced in 1978. In this theme you will find police, fire brigade, hospital, medical emergency services and airport sets with associated vehicles. LEGO® City also offers adventurous arctic, aerospace, mining and jungle sets.
With the LEGO® City Powered Up app you can control certain sets and add sound effects. There are also sets that have light and sound stones for an even more realistic effect. This makes playing with LEGO® City sets even more fun! LEGO® City sets are available for children from 4 years old. Older children and adults can also purchase LEGO® City sets that offer more challenge.
At ToyPro you can order individual LEGO® City minifigures and loose parts from LEGO® City sets in our LEGO® online store.
