See how this LEGO® suitcase is made in real life!

One of the best things about LEGO® is that it inspires people. It helps them to use their creativity and to come up with new ideas and projects. This can be done with the LEGO® building bricks themselves, but also without and today we have a very nice example of this. Hahn of Hahns Atelier was inspired by a LEGO® suitcase and decided to design and make it for real. Watch the video below to see the wonderful process and result!
LEGO® 4449 Suitcase
Hahn was inspired by this simple, brown LEGO® suitcase. So he got to work. After designing the case, he worked with extreme precision. With leather, wood and some hinges and screws, he managed to build a beautiful, real functioning suitcase. This project gave us a bit of nostalgia. Hopefully you did too!
In the description of the video, Hahn says that LEGO® used to be his favourite toy and that he enjoyed turning his imagination into reality with the limited blocks he had. The work he does now is not very different. In his studio, he designs and makes all kinds of beautiful things himself. He does this mainly with leather, but he is also at home in many other materials.
