Nya is the fifth ninja to be trained by sensei Wu, and the only girl in the group. She is Kai's sister, and is in a relationship with Jay. She eventually became the ninja of the element of water, but she is also a talented inventor and very capable with technology in general. The ninjas embark upon a quest in the Desert of Doom, but they accidentally free Aspheera and become trapped. In order to fight this new threat, they will have to use new and even stronger powers; the Forbidden Spinjitzu.
