This classic American sports car is elegantly translated into a building experience for adult fans, consisting of 1,241 parts. The set is specially designed for builders aged 18 and older and is available exclusively from LEGO. The recommended retail price is €139.99.
What makes the LEGO Shelby Cobra 427 S/C so special?
The model shines in dark blue with white racing stripes-the iconic colors of the Shelby Cobra-and is detailed down to the smallest detail. The gold-colored grille elements and chrome side exhausts immediately catch the eye. The set includes functioning steering wheel controls, hinged doors, an opening hood and trunk, a detailed V8 engine with dual air intakes as well as a fire extinguisher in the interior.
LEGO used advanced building techniques, including SNOT (Studs Not On Top), and new round elements to accurately mimic the classic shapes of the sports car. Even parts such as "ice skate" elements have been cleverly used to mimic authentic details, including the license plate holder.
The real Shelby Cobra 427 S/C - A 1965 icon
The Shelby Cobra 427 S/C (Semi-Competition) is a legendary model developed by Carroll Shelby in 1965 based on the British AC Ace, but with a 7.0-liter American Ford V8 engine. Only 31 to 56 of these cars were ever built, making them extremely rare. The Cobra 427 S/C was intended for racing, but many ended up on the road - a rare combination of brute power and elegance.
With over 500 horsepower and a top speed of over 260 mph, the Cobra became an icon of American motorsports. The LEGO version honors this heritage with an authentic scale reproduction that both evokes nostalgia and offers pure building joy.

The Shelby Cobra joins an impressive line of LEGO Icons cars released in recent years.
